Welcome to the Website of Juauls Maine Coon Cats
Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Julie Wheatley. I live with my husband Paul, close to the city centre of Nottingham, in the East Midlands. We are fortunate in having great shops, wonderful countryside and a working windmill all within walking distance of our home.
In 2004 I accepted early retirement, due to ill-health from my job in an inner-city Nursery and Infant School. Where I worked with children with Special Educational Needs. After my retirement and, as I'd been showing Maine Coons for a little while, I decided that the time was right, for me to set up my own small cattery.
I now breed Maine Coons in a variety of colours, including smokes and solids, for pleasure and to show. My aim is to produce quality kittens of sound temperament and excellent type. I'm passionate about Maine Coons and endeavour to breed kittens that are healthy and happy, kittens that will hopefully, make super pets. I'm dedicated to maintaining and improving the current high standards of this delightful breed.
All my girls live indoors as part of our family. My Stud boy, Chunky Monkey, lives with his companion, Snuggles in an outdoor, heated stud house with run.
My cats are registered with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) and with the International Cat Association (TICA) I regularly show under both organisations.
I’m a breeder member of the Maine Coon Breed Society, the Maine Coon Cat Club, the Maine Coon Guild, and CoonTica.
All my kittens are registered with the GCCF.
